Sales Order Specialist II - United Kingdom

Location: Hybrid / Winnersh

The role of a Sales Order Specialist II will be responsible for working with and supporting our internal Sales Teams as well as our internal Eco System.  The main objective will be to prepare and or validate quotations and order forms within agreed SLAs: This position will consist of:

  • Analyzing Customers inventory, existing and previous contracts.
  • Generating and supporting of Quotes
  • Preparation of Contracts / Order Forms
  • Capturing all Non-Standard Approvals
  • Deal Submission upon signature of contract / order form.
  • Providing effective customer service for all internal customers by utilising excellent, in-depth knowledge of company services such as:
    • Legal Level 1 support and generate contractual agreements.
    • Ensure orders are compliant to the established licensing. policies in accordance with Corporate, SOX, Revenue Recognition policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all orders are submitted on a timely basis according to established order submission deadlines.
    • Validate and process all orders with focus on accuracy and completion for submission.
    • License and / or software accounting, legal operations, and understanding of license revenue recognition requirements.
Leverages – Supporting and navigating throughout various steps of the opportunity lifecycle across various teams. Using skillset to deliver a wide variety of quotation requests and compliant Order Forms.

  • CRM Tools i.e. Salesforce
  • Pricing in a SaaS / On Prem & Mainframe environment business
  • Organization and Communication skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1 to 4 years work experience in a similar role.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is £ 24,450 - £ 40,750
