Position Description

The Staff Commissions Analyst will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of BMC’s sales compensation systems and processes. This role ensures accurate and timely calculation, reporting, and analysis of sales commissions and incentives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of sales operations and compensation structures.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

•             Administer and maintain the sales commissions platform (e.g., Forma.ai, Callidus, Xactly, or equivalent).

•             Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

•             Generate and distribute commission statements and dashboards.

•             Troubleshoot and resolve commission-related inquiries from sales representatives.

•             Support compensation plan modeling, testing, and deployment.

•             Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications (Knowledge and Skills)

•             Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

•             3+ years of experience in sales operations, commissions administration, or compensation analytics.

•             Experience with sales compensation tools (e.g., Forma.ai, Xactly, Callidus).

•             Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

•             Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•             Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

•             Experience working in a SaaS or complex enterprise software environment.

•             Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM data structures.

•             Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit controls related to compensation.

•             Experience leveraging AI & GenAI Technology for productivity and the sales operations & commissioning function

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,180,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
