The Staff Financial Systems Analyst - GL Administrator is a Finance‑owned role responsible for supporting the administration, accuracy, and control of the Oracle General Ledger within an Oracle E‑Business Suite on‑prem environment. This role supports month‑end close, financial reporting, and accounting integrity, while partnering with Accounting teams and IT to ensure stable, compliant, and well‑controlled GL operations.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on finance systems professional with a strong accounting foundation who wants to deepen ownership of Oracle GL in a controlled enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting Oracle GL administration, COA structures, ledgers, and accounting calendars

• Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

• Troubleshooting GL and subledger accounting issues

• Supporting reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting

• Maintaining SOX compliance, audit support, and process documentation

• Coordinating with IT for system maintenance, testing, and issue resolution

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance systems professional with strong accounting knowledge and Oracle GL experience.


To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 3–5 years of experience supporting Oracle GL in a Finance or Accounting environment
• Hands on experience with Oracle E Business Suite (R12), on prem
• Prior participation in monthly close and financial reporting cycles
• Experience supporting multi entity or shared services environments preferred
• Solid understanding of:
- Accounting fundamentals and journal processing
- Chart of Accounts and GL structures
- Subledger to GL accounting flows
• Ability to troubleshoot accounting vs. process/system issues
• Comfortable working with Oracle GL balances, journals, and standard reports
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in SOX controlled environments
• Exposure to US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Experience supporting Oracle AP, AR, FA, CM, or Projects
• Prior experience in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or enterprise finance organization
• CPA / CA / CMA (a plus)

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
