To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in order management, billing/invoicing operations, sales operations, customer operations, or a related high-volume transactional role.
  • Systems: Experience with Zuora Billing preferred; familiarity with subscription billing/quote-to-cash tools such as Zuora CPQ, Conga CLM, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Order-to-cash knowledge: Working understanding of subscription billing concepts (terms, service periods, billing timing, credits/rebills, cancellations, invoice corrections) and downstream impacts.
  • Controls & documentation: Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation practices; comfortable operating within defined approvals and SOX/audit controls.
  • Problem solving: Able to investigate discrepancies across process and systems and drive issues to resolution.
  • Order-to-cash knowledge: Working understanding of subscription billing concepts (terms, service periods, billing timing, credits/rebills, cancellations, invoice corrections) and downstream impacts.
  • Controls & compliance: Demonstrated attention to detail, documentation discipline, and comfort working within defined approvals and internal controls (including SOX/audit requirements).
  • Problem solving: Able to investigate discrepancies across process and systems, document findings, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Communication & collaboration: Clear written/verbal communication and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with downstream finance handoffs (e.g., A/R interfaces) and close processes.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, UAT, training, or job-aid development in a global/matrixed environment.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 831,700 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
