- Review trial balances and financial reports to determine if any corrections are required via analytical review combined with in-depth review of specific risk areas.
- Perform variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement to identify potential errors.
- Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review accounting compliance with intercompany contracts as well as review all tax and social security expenses and income tax accounts to ensure completeness of information.
- Review and prepare audit documentation (including coordination and review of documentation prepared by the Financial Shared Service Center).
- Work closely with the other Controllers to forecast cash requirements and entity profitability.
- You hold a degree in Higher Professional Economics/Accounting education or a university degree (Bachelor/Masters). Completion of the Accounting Certificate of the Ministry of Finance (Poland) or a CPA-equivalent education (such as ACCA/CIMA) is a plus.
- You have 3+ years of accounting/controllership experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Your background includes experience working with accounting systems, preferably Oracle Financials, OneStream, MicroStrategy and Windows-based software applications.
- You are open to working an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.
