The Renewal Sales Representative is an individual contributor responsible for managing and renewing customer contracts across complex geographical territories. This role owns the end-to-end renewal cycle, including pricing negotiation, proposal development, and stakeholder management, while driving customer retention, revenue protection, and growth through proactive engagement and strategic account management.

  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record in Software Renewal Sales
  • Experience managing complex geographical territories and customer segments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections and renew contracts effectively
  • Willing to work flexible hours (EMEA, APJ, NA time zones)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce.com, and other CRM tools
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales, particularly in software renewals
  • Manage and renew customer contracts in complex geographical regions, ensuring timely and accurate renewals
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Prepare and present renewal quotes for maintenance contracts (90-120 days prior to expiration)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Field Sales, Legal, Rev Rec) to ensure contract accuracy and positioning
  • Track and report renewals and sales activities, meeting or exceeding KPIs
  • Handle contract objections and work to resolve any customer concerns
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving sales performance and employee productivity
  • Review and interpret contractual terms and conditions
