- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and Snowflake, including administration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in ETL development, data mining, and automation of data pipelines.
- Proven ability to execute, manage, and implement process enhancements in a fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to dynamic business needs.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to partner with diverse stakeholders, understand their requirements, and deliver effective solutions—especially when managing competing priorities.
The Candidate will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and automating data workflows across SQL Server, Snowflake, and ETL environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Loading, reconciling, and validating data from SQL Server and Snowflake sources, particularly for revenue close activities.
- Providing timely reconciliation results, database health checks, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing scalable process improvements using technical solutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines using Informatica and SSIS, while ensuring smooth functioning of the existing ETL landscape.
- Administering and optimizing the Control-M environment to support automated scheduling and monitoring of ETL jobs.
- Improving system performance through database tuning, query optimization, and best-practice configurations.
- Creating and updating comprehensive process documentation and actively cross-training team members to ensure operational continuity.
- Supporting the standardization and automation of reporting and analysis processes that rely on managed databases.
