The Transformation Office PMO collaborates closely with BMC’s in-house strategy team, working directly on behalf the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. We work on a variety board and C-suite level strategic initiatives and programs as part of a multi-year growth transformation under private ownership. 
Join us as a Senior Program Manager!

As a Senior Program Manager at BMC, you will work closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver critical initiatives supporting BMC’s strategic vision. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management and implementation of BMC’s highest priority initiatives.  If you are a strong and steady leader who is experienced at coordinating and guiding multiple teams through high-value and high-profile projects within a large matrixed organization, this is the job for you!

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 
  • Lead end-to-end program management of strategic, highly visible, company-wide initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to define and document scope, goals, resources and deliverables.
  • Execute best practice approaches across program/project plans, logs, status reporting, and change management. 
  • Manage milestones and timelines, identify dependencies, deliver progress reports, manage tracking program key performance indicators (KPI) and ensuring KPIs are met  
  • Routinely identify, assess, and develop mitigation plans for events that could impact the success of the initiatives.  
  • Communicate project expectations and progress to project team and stakeholders using a variety of mediums leading status meetings, email communications, and project presentations. 
  • Ensure clear ownership of deliverables across project team and stakeholders with well-defined roles and responsibilities.   

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Project/Program Management, with a heavy focus on cross-functional and indirect leadership, and value creation.  
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership to define vision, set expectations, and drive execution. 
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to project situations, make judgment calls to establish direction for resolution, and represent status and impacts to key project stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven Program Management/Project Management Skills (certifications in Agile methodologies, Six Sigma, PMP a plus).  
  • Knowledge of program/project management tools and packages – Smartsheet preferred  
  • Hardworking teammate and collaborator with strong interpersonal skills that enable working cross-functionally in a diverse corporate environment and across geographies.
  • Experience implementing large-scale, company-wide solutions a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $149,400 - $249,000
