BU Description:
Primary responsibilities include implementing, configuring, and supporting application security and identity access management technology solutions including Web Application Firewall, Web Access Gateway, Okta Single Sign On, AWS SSO, as well as developing Python security utilities, tools, and integrations. Java Development experience is a plus. Knowledge of SailPoint administration and development is a plus.
- Responsible for supporting our Cloudflare Web Application Firewall, Single-Signon, Device trust, and password-less capabilities.
- Responsible for evaluation, performing proof-of-concepts, and documenting new capabilities with existing vendors or new vendors
- Investigates, recommends, and monitors implementation of new security products and services.
- Responsible for developing utilities and dashboards to support the reporting, monitoring, and governance needs for our security solutions – including Okta, ThreatX, and Beyond Identity.
- Responsible for analyzing and improving current processes using automation.
- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of current internally developed Python utilities.
- Identify and develop integration opportunities between security solutions and automation, compliance jobs
- Coordinate quality assurance and testing with users of the new functionalities/capabilities
- Work with virtual team/management to collect user requirements and write necessary documentation and procedures for implementation and user support
- Ensure that issues/problems are communicated in a timely and effective manner
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience with IAM and Single Sign-On technologies, including Azure AD, Office 365, Okta SSO, and SailPoint.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, including defense in depth, zero trust architecture, and general security governance.
- Experience with public cloud security best practices and governance models across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 1–2 years of mid-level to advanced experience with Python and Java, especially in the context of automation, integration, and application security.
- Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs using JSON.
- Experience with scripting and tools like Power Automate for workflow and task automation.
- Comfortable working across Windows, Mac, and Unix operating systems.
- Proven experience working with distributed and remote teams, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation and organizational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player
- Familiarity with security tools in software development lifecycle like Checkmarx as well as Azure AD, AWS APIs/CLI, Okta API.
- Experience with data analysis with Excel and other data analysis tools is highly desirable.
- Experience creating management dashboards with Power BI, and other visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Experience using containers and VMs in a development environment is desirable.
