BU Description:
The Support Services organization under IS&T is responsible for providing L2 support for various applications to all the users within BMC. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Individual Contributor position reporting to the Manager.
Investigate, diagnose, and fix the various integration issues reported by users / system for webMethods 10.5.
Must be able to go through and clearly understand the webMethods code written in webMethods’ Flow language or Java.
Monitor the logs and various services present on the webMethods Integration server.
Monitor, analyze, and resubmit failed transactions.
Must have good programing knowledge 
Handle user communication over phone, instant messenger, or email.
Work with the development team to get defects fixed and enhancements done.
Support weekend maintenance activities by suspending and resuming integrations.
Handle on call responsibility in rotation (once every 2 weeks).
Support disaster recovery activity
Will have to work in 2nd shift (3PM to 12AM) in rotation (once every 2 weeks).
Willing to work over the weekend and holidays, whenever required.
This is support position with some development work involved.

Experience/ Qualifications:
Preferably a BE/MCA/MCS in Computers/Information Technology
Must have proven experience of 3-4 years handling application support or development for webMethods, preferably version 10.5
Knowledge of My webMethods Monitor, Flow services, Optimizer, and Designer
Should be able to read and understand integration code written in webMethods Flow language and Java.
Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and the various adapters used in webMethods
Good programming knowledge of Java or any other language
Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting ability
Should have good verbal and written communication skill
Should have basic office applications skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to analyze server logs and identify issues
Should have good knowledge of Databases and SQL queries
Knowledge of installation of Certificates and Keys would be a plus
Good understanding of ITIL concepts would be a plus
