About The Role:

We are looking for a Technical Instructor to join our BMC Education Services team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for delivering customer and partner facing BMC training courses with hands on technical labs. BMC Education Services training programs are a blend of traditional classroom, virtual classroom and self-paced interactive learning. In addition to delivering training, the Technical Instructor will be responsible for interacting with our customers to drive BMC Software adoption through education. Finally, the technical instructor serves as a resource and subject matter expert to our instructional designers in the curriculum development process. As the Technical Instructor:

Deliver virtual and onsite technical trainings to customers and partners
Interact with customers to develop training plans and drive BMC Software adoption through education.
Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for instructional designers in the development of new training materials
Define and develop new content to extend and enhance existing BMC Software training materials as needed.

About You:

First and foremost, you have a B.S. in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
You should have hands on experience with BMC products such as BMC Control-M Scheduling and Administration or similar enterprise level products.

Good to have skills:

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Quality customer service skills and prior customer-focused experience
Experience of delivering training services to technical audiences or clients.
Experience working with internal and external customers to develop training plans and provide guidance on educational offerings.
Able to travel world-wide, and work flexible hours to accommodate virtual delivery.
Experience in developing technical curriculum.
Ability to quickly learn and master a complex technical product.
Experience in creating and maintaining hands on lab environments is a strong plus.
Must enjoy a challenging work environment that requires significant flexibility, self-direction, and creativity.
ITIL foundation certification will be added advantage.
