BU Description:

Support Services – BI Support L2 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • MicroStrategy Reports and Job Monitoring 
  • Responsible for providing support to Microstrategy, Informatica - ETL and PL/SQL 
  • Practical experience in understanding complex client requirements and process mapping to design flexible and scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrate business problem solving capabilities to keep the systems running.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Identify, resolve, and/or escalate issues to leadership as and when required.
  • Ability to understand the business processes and technical architecture for overall suite. 
  • Ability to complete work within the given timelines.
  • Familiar with ITIL framework and agile practices.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and extended hours as and when required.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines;
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements;
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience leading delivery of one or multiple projects;
  • Extensive experience working with front-end user reporting (e.g. Microstrategy, Business Object), back-end database management (e.g.: Oracle, Teradata) technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Strong client presence. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences;
  • Ability to manage a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects;
  • Knowledge of current data modelling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends in the Business Intelligence domain;
  • Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications;
  • BI solution design and implementation experience using technologies like, Microstrategy, Cognos, Oracle, SSIS etc.;

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

  • Good Knowledge of ITIL and support system
  • Snowflake or any cloud database knowledge
  • Informatica
  • Scripting like Unix /PowerShell
