Description and Requirements

As support analyst you will be part of BI technical support team, supporting MicroStrategy, ETL, Informatica and other BI tools implemented across 42 countries being supported from India. The team is combination of Oracle Apps and BI Technical consultants supporting customer issues directly. Direct interaction with customers across the globe for reported issue resolutions. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
As part of this team you will be working on ETL/MicroStrategy Job Monitoring 
You shall be responsible for providing support to Alteryx, MicroStrategy, ETL and PL/SQL 
Practical experience in understanding complex client requirements and process mapping to design flexible and scalable solutions.
Demonstrate business problem solving capabilities to keep the systems running.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Identify, resolve, and/or escalate issues to leadership as and when required.
Ability to understand the business processes and technical architecture for overall suite. 
Ability to complete work within the given timelines.
Familiar with ITIL framework and agile practices.
Willingness to work in shifts (9 AM, 12.30 PM & 3 PM) and extended hours as and when required.

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines
Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements
Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience leading delivery of one or multiple projects
Extensive experience working with front-end user reporting (e.g.: MicroStrategy, QlikView, Qliksense, Business Object, Cognos), back-end database management (e.g.: Oracle, Teradata) and/or ETL interfacing (e.g.: Informatica, SSIS) technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 
Strong client presence. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences
Ability to manage a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects
Knowledge of current data modelling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends in the Business Intelligence domain
Experience with analysing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications
BI solution design and implementation experience using technologies like MicroStrategy, QlikView, Cognos, Oracle, Informatica, SSIS etc
Experience in data warehousing, architectural design, dimensional modelling (Star schema), ETL and data migration;
Help with the selling process including writing proposals and giving product demos;
Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills;

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

Good Knowledge of ITIL and support system
Snowflake or any cloud database knowledge
Scripting like Unix /PowerShell
