Description and Requirements

BMC Is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join a QE team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation & assuring product quality.

If you are an experienced Software Quality Engineer with a fundamental testing understanding and experience and no stranger to programming.

  • Responsibility for manual tests as well as automation development
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.


  • BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA Engineer and\or Performance Engineer role
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology
  • Experience working in complex distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies
  • Hands-on experience working with K8S, Dockers, various databases, Kafka, API’s, DataDog
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to details

Major Advantages:

  • Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (preferably Robot Framework, Python etc.)
  • Experience with Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load)
  • Experience with performance testing frameworks, such as JMeter, etc.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins CI
