Description and Requirements

As the staff specialist project manager for the Quality Initiatives program at BMC, you will help organize the project plan, assist in the execution of the plan, and in the communication with the broader virtual team. In addition to the skills and experience that you bring in project management, you also bring with your depth in Quality Engineering concepts.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • You will be a member of the Centralized Quality team, responsible for the quality assessment of different product lines.
  • You will participate in Quality Management Systems design, implementation, and execution.
  • You will conduct a Quality plan and Quality Assurance review for different product lines.
  • You will collaborate with different product teams and gather quality-related data and Analyse-it.
  • Improve Quality standards by developing Quality policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Enhancing development process in support of DevOps and CI/CD, improving QA tools, etc.
  • Maintain and analyze organizational quality-related data and present it to the leadership team.
  • Project planning and management for Quality assessment projects efforts. 
  • Assist in managing quality initiatives

Qualification\Skills:
  • B.E /B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience with Quality Engineering (QA, Development, Test)
  • Project Management experience in the Software Industry
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent project Planning and Release planning skills
  • Excellent experience with BI/Analytic tools (Tableau, Qlikview, or others)
