Description and Requirements

BMC is looking for an Experienced Java Developer, to join a team of highly skilled software developers, responsible for BMC’s Control-M product.

In this role you will design and develop new features using modern back-end technologies.



Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop features for an industry leading product.
  • Work in agile within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high quality features.
  • Work in good collaboration with other teams to develop joint features.
  • Various technologies/tools are investigated and chosen to implement our vision.


Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Solid experience in Java Backend development, including Design Patterns and Unit-Testing
  • Experienced with REST API and Web Services
  • Experience with Spring Framework
  • Experience with Unix/Linux, Jira, Git, Scrum
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient java code
  • Experience with enterprise-grade products – Advantage
  • Self-taught, passionate, innovative programmer
  • Fluent English
