Role: Staff Specialist Product Developer

Experience: 7+ years


BMC Helix Operations Management uses service-centric monitoring, advanced event management, root cause isolation, and intelligent automation to improve performance and availability.

AIOps/BHOM have capability to collect the data from wide variety of data sources such as Cloud technologies AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The Data Collector team plays a crucial role as the collectors gather the performance and availability data from Cloud/Container/Databases/Applications/Operating systems and Virtualizations and feed it to the AIOps/BHOM.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • A candidate should have UNIX/Windows System management exposure.
  • A candidate should have an understanding of cloud technology, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery
  • Operate in an agile scrum style with a mindset toward creating workable interim deliverables that can be demonstrated to clients and product managers
  • A candidate should have an understanding of Docker container technology.


  • 7+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of the following technologies: C or C++, Core Java, J2EE.
  • Strong knowledge of Java collection classes, Multi-Threading, and IPC is desirable.
  • Good exposure to AWS, AZURE or other Cloud technologies.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills should be able to solve problems in highly scalable server-grade app problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred
