Job Summary:

The Instructional Designer will act as a learning consultant to determine training needs and delivery methods, work with SMEs to create engaging content using adult learning principles and industry standard tools and develop curriculum and training pathways to enable all levels of the sales force to meet development goals. They will also be responsible for Content Management of learning materials. 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Develop courses and curriculum using asynchronous training modalities including micro-learning, blended learning, and virtual training materials
  • Translate business strategy with Subject Matter Experts into the most appropriate learning solution including workflows, simulations, websites, instructor-led virtual and classroom training, and videos.
  • Develop engaging and accessible online content through UI interfaces, graphics, illustrations, animations and/or simulations for e-learning course ware and classroom presentations.
  • Responsible for providing input to the systems architecture.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Analyze metrics to measure performance of materials and systems.
  • Serve as a resource and expert for graphic design and multimedia development for multiple departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Preferred MS/MA in Instructional Design, Learning Design, Education, or Communication.
  • 3+ years’ experience in instructional design and developing learning solutions in multiple modalities, including significant experience in designing and delivering e-learning solutions
  • Knowledge and experience with Cornerstone and Seismic Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with adult learning, ADDIE and Kirkpatrick evaluation models
  • Experience with industry standard development tools including: Articulate 360, Adobe CC Suite (Ps, Ai, Ae, Pr, Au)
  • Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·    Demonstrated evidence of detail-orientation, sales training orientation, and ability to work independently.

·     Excellent project management skills and attention to detail; able to implement locally and at global scale.

  • Ability to work with a wide range of consultants.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
