- Manage Services Procurement for the assigned Category (which may change over the time as per work requirement): set direction and monitor results; ensure priorities are clear and standards and delivery schedules are met; and remain informed of the services being provided
- Manage Supplier as well as Business Partner relationships at a global level: to understand business issues and requirements; and to manage supplier/contractor relationships
- Knowledge of developing strategic short-term/long-term category/sub-category strategy for responsible areas
- Experience to run RFx, lead negotiations utilizing professional knowledge, experience and techniques in the purchasing cycle
- Ability to evaluate contracts and documents, negotiate terms with suppliers, and resolve contract disputes
- Good to have experience in Oracle Purchasing (preferred) or another ERP
- Analytical acumen to gather data, perform spend analysis, deep dive into data and put results into concise executive summary in Power Point
- Advanced/Expert ability in working with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings and controllership improvements
- Strong ability to influence and steer highly ethical process with business partners and suppliers
- Promote innovation and continual improvement in GP operations
- Knowledge of basic BMC products, IT tools, Software, platforms across all verticals to understand in detail the scope document/requirement provided by stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skill (written as well as Oral) to interact with suppliers as well as stakeholders in different geographies.
- Willing to work in EMEA time zone.
- Very Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Graduate with Engineering degree or Commerce graduate. Advanced degree a plus
- 4 or more years of professional work experience
- Multi-national work experience a plus
- Expert analytic skills and ability to conceptualize and develop strategies and build models for business-related concepts
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment with changing priorities and a level of ambiguity
- A keen learner, aggressive with leadership capability
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver compelling business presentations
