A GP Sourcing Analyst assists and supports a specific area of supply chain management, e.g., Services procurement, contracting, sourcing, materials, logistics or process development.  Depending on the Associate’s level of experience, s/he will be asked to process contracts and purchase agreements for a given category or sub-category. S/he is expected to apply existing technology, procedures, principles, and analytical rules to routine assignments.  An Analyst works closely with business partners to ensure timely delivery of appropriate solutions and solves problems which typically require the application of technical knowledge, concepts, principles, and analytical rules.  


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Graduate with 2-4 years of experience 
  • Should have worked on Oracle for PO creation, requisition monitoring. At least 2 years’ experience in independently negotiating in following categories.
  • SaaS, Software’s, Storage, Server, Mainframes, IT Peripherals, Telecom, Networking, Hardware, Datacenters, facilities services procurement, marketing and events. Preference - facilities, real state and HR services procurement.
  • Willingness to ask for concessions & Stakeholder management. 
  • Know-how of contract management modalities like NDA’s, POC’s, Data protection agreement, SOX controls, GDPR DPA’s, global legal clauses related to contracts.
  • Understand key concepts in supplier risk management. Added advantage for knowledge in North America region & EU Region clauses.
  • Aware of maintenance renewals and processing those renewals on tracking. 
  • Understand volume bundling, multi-year engagements, run rate savings, cost avoidance negotiation tactics.
  • Understanding asset disposals and aware of waste management procurement modalities such as inviting for bids, comparison, auctions.
  • Possess analytical acumen and conduct spend analysis. Liaison with stakeholder to incorporate seasonal demands to meet targets/ SLA’s.
  • Good written & verbal Communication skills, Strong analytical skills, good command over Microsoft excel spreadsheets with spend analysis and working with pivots

Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate with good academics and track record 
  • Post Graduate - preferably in supply chain / operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skill
  • Experience 3-4 years in indirect procurement
  • Thorough understanding of contract management MSA and SOW
  • Good to have experience in Oracle R12, procurement and purchasing module
