We are actively seeking an innovative Marketing Operations Analyst responsible for the development and management of business unit reporting and analytics for ABM, demand, field, and event marketing programs and more. Leveraging on-going performance measurements and fact-based reporting and analysis, you will drive data-driven insights for better decision making and improved results for Control-M and Helix Control-M marketing programs and content effectiveness. 

The team operates in a fast-paced environment that requires self-directed, detail-oriented, motivated, flexible, deadline-driven, and collaborative individuals. In this role, you will interface frequently with multiple teams at BMC including operations, demand generation, web, digital marketing, events, finance, and sales.

Primary points of responsibility include, but will not be limited to:
  • Working with sales and marketing operations to define the performance measurements, reporting, and analysis required to improve marketing program results for the business unit
  • Collaborating with analytics teams to develop and enhance dashboards providing insights to marketing team, focusing on independent metrics for both on-premise and SaaS solutions
  • Translating quantitative data into actionable recommendations and business objectives, marketing goals and measurements 
  • Regularly reviewing dashboards with business unit marketing leadership team providing performance updates and summaries 
  • Creating and maintaining appropriate marketing key performance indicators and ROI models for marketing campaigns to determine effectiveness
  • Gaining buy-in for measurement models from key stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans with data-driven analysis 
  • Leading monthly and quarterly interlocks with cross-organizational teams to support continued improvements for Control-M metrics
  • Work with various teams to identify, track and report KPIs for product launches
Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing and/or sales operations role within the high-tech industry
  • Experience with analytics and terminology for SaaS markets
  • Experience with (Leads, Campaigns, and Reporting), Eloqua, collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft Teams), database experience and advanced reporting and analytics tools
  • Power user with SmartSheet, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Demonstrate project and process management capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams to drive timely project completion
  • Self-starter, high-energy, with ability to execute on business objectives
  • Experience of Industry Best Practices for marketing metrics and processes

  • Must be an analytical and critical thinker, willing to take calculated risks, act independently when required, and have a high degree of personal initiative
  • Comfortable with technology and learning to use new applications and programs
