The BMC Resourcing Specialist performs staffing and resourcing functions for Global Services.  Within the relevant staffing eco-system, the Resourcing Specialist ensures maximum utilization of the appropriate staff on each engagement.  In addition, the  Resourcing Specialist provides data and information to PMO and Practice Leads to ensure accurate, skills-based strategic workforce planning decisions can be made.

Key Accountabilities:

Participates in strategic accounts reviews to address current resource concerns and understand the customer strategy.
Participates in resource management process training to Project / Program Managers / Project Specialists (as needed).

Implementation & Delivery:

Supports, follows, and adheres to all the Global Resourcing Processes.  
Reviews  the MicroStrategy or OpenAir ("OA") Availability Reports of all internal staff to ensure data is accurate for staffing decisions. 
Reviews the OA list of open Staffing  Requests for detail accuracy, and follows the standard Resourcing process 
Expands relationships with resources to understand their functional, technical, and soft skill levels; reports on difficult-to-place staff to the relevant People Manager so that skills and/or development needs can be addressed.
Expands relationships with People Managers and Services Solution Managers to understand near-term and strategic resourcing demand. 
Hosts weekly resource management calls with Project Management and Services Sales staff to help resolve urgent or problem resource requests. 
Monitors  use of Consulting Services Partner ("CSP") and internal staff usage to ensure staffing supports the use of internal BMC resources who meet the skill requirements. . 
Ensure CSP data is provided and available in OpenAir for staffing. 
Ensures Enterprise Purchase Orders ("EPO") are in place, including renewals, before project work commences.
Ensures approvals / visas and process is followed for global resourcing.  
Helps to drive utilization by negotiating project schedules, share plans, and using other creative staffing techniques. 
Acts as a trusted adviser to forecasting resourcing needs and availability for larger projects. 
Utilizes  the process documents for the resource management operational processes.
Shares knowledge with each resource to ensure resources understand the skills range being requested.  
Work with other global Resource Manager's by sharing available resources and supporting one another. 

Technical Skills:
MS office apps - Word, Excel - intermediate level 
Prefer knowledge of Resource Staffing Software 
Prefer knowledge of BMC technical products

Qualifications / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
English & Spanish Fluency both written and verbal. 

5(+) years of experience related resource management experience in a large global services organization or pure-play professional services company.
1(+) year direct Resource Management for large teams (>30(+) FTEs).
3(+) years of experience interfacing with Customers at multiple levels within the organization.
