Description and Requirements

BMC is seeking a Human Resources Project Manager to join our Houston team! 

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic Global HR team covering project work including acquisitions, employee exits, and other HR operational work. You will play a key role in supporting the HR team in managing special projects and global processes relating to the full employee lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities
•You will manage reporting to accounting and finance organizations for employee lifecycle activity, including management of the global severance process database and reporting
•Support HRBP team on global processes including, workforce planning, talent management, and special projects for their organizations
•You will act as the Primary or backup support for HR projects including technology/system upgrades, employee engagement survey, acquisitions, and employee exits, ensuring key tasks are completed accurately and on time 
•Support the corporate compensation team projects, including market data integrity, reviews of salary structures, and ad hoc requests for new and existing role reviews
•Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from the HR leadership team, including executive level PowerPoint reports 
•You have the opportunity to improve processes and make them more efficient – particularly within our HR systems
•Act as a point of contact and build influential client (internal/external) relationships

Qualification Requirements
•Degree/Certification in HR Management (preferably MBA)
•Proven work experience of a minimum of 5 years supporting HR projects or in HR operations
•Familiarity with HR tools and applications
•Should display highest levels of adherence to processes and timelines
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros, power query) and PowerPoint with strong experience in reporting and analytics.
•Strong ability to tell a compelling story for executive and HR presentations
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR programs and data

•Experience working with Oracle a plus
•Financial or accounting experience a plus
