BUSINESS UNIT/ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BMC mainframe solutions draw on decades of expertise and innovation to leverage AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to achieve a self-managing mainframe.

Key elements of a self-managing mainframe: Multivariate analysis, Predictive analytics, Root-cause analysis, Prescribed remediation, Intelligent automation and Built-in domain expertise.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY: 

You will be contributing member of the Development team responsible for developing and debugging of software products.
You will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
You will work across product lines with interaction of other BMC products.

Roles and Responsibilities

Independently design and implement features that address customer needs with a sense of ownership within given timelines
Write code for GUI development using Java, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace
Articulate technical details in a fluent manner using functional and test specifications
Desired Candidate Profile
Solid hands-on technical skills in Core Java and multi-threading
Problem solving using data structures and algorithms
Can discuss about design patterns, object-oriented software development and high-performance code characteristics
Demonstrate self-starter behavior and a desire to tackle hard technical problems
Working knowledge of version control systems like Git and SVN

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Eclipse IDE and familiarity with static code analyzers like Sonar for automated reviews.
Experience with application development using Java, Eclipse RCP, Web Services, SWT/Swing
Experience in a Web based environment utilizing HTML, XML, and JavaScript, Java Server Pages, and Servlets.
Strong knowledge and experience with various DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
Any experience of working in a CI/CD environment with popular DevOps tools is desirable
