BU/PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BMC Helix Operations Management uses service-centric monitoring, advanced event management, root cause isolation, and intelligent automation to improve performance and availability.

AIOps/BHOM have capability to collect the data from wide variety of data sources such as Cloud technologies AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The Data Collector team plays a crucial role as the collectors gather the performance and availability data from Cloud/Container/Databases/Applications/Operating systems and Virtualizations and feed it to the AIOps/BHOM.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

A candidate should have UNIX/Windows System management exposure.
A candidate should have an understanding of cloud technology, particularly AWS, Google and Azure.
A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery
Operate in an agile scrum style with a mindset toward creating workable interim deliverables that can be demonstrated to clients and product managers
A candidate should have an understanding of Docker container technology.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of the following technologies: Core Java, J2EE.
Strong knowledge of Java collection classes, Multi-Threading, and IPC is desirable.
Good exposure to AWS, AZURE or other Cloud technologies.
Strong Troubleshooting skills should be able to solve problems in highly scalable server-grade app problems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred
