Position Description:
This position will be part of the team, which enables the monitoring solutions for BMC’s Internal IT and the BMC’s SaaS operations i.e. Customer’s environments 
Staff Platform System Administrators responsibility is oriented towards the goal of helping IT Operations using BMC products and enable solutions that detect, isolate and remediate both application and infrastructure issues. The selected candidate must possess a positive attitude and flair of understanding their business needs. Must have experience of current industry trends in Infrastructure and Application Monitoring products. Should have experience of working with IT Infrastructure Operations and Management products.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Administration of BMC TrueSight Operations Manager
Configure and deploy monitoring solutions using BMC Patrol Agents 
Configure and deploy Synthetic monitoring solutions using TrueSight, TMART 
Configure monitoring for Kubernetes environment using Prometheus, TrueSight
Develop MRL scripts required by monitoring, integration
Configure network monitoring using Entuity, SolarWinds NPM, Thousand Eyes
Develop and configure CMA policies including tag, filter, group, and monitor policies
Configure and fine tune KPI, baselines and monitoring thresholds at global, local, and instance level
Develop and Configure custom monitoring solutions, dashboards, interface
Manage and support Integrations with BMC Remedy, BMC Service resolution, CMDB, other BMC products
Build integration to non-BMC monitoring solutions
Provide reports, stats, metrics to users and help debug issues with Infrastructure and Applications
On call Support for Critical priority issues
Addressing user Incidents & requests regarding Monitoring configurations.
Co-ordinate with Product Support and R&D teams to fix the product issues 

Minimum 4-5 Years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and Monitoring 
Prior experience of working on BMC Monitoring Products - TrueSight Operations Management BPPM, PATROL, TMART, TrueSight Synthetic
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for interaction with a global team.
Engineering Graduate in Computer Science or relevant field 
Exposure to ITIL Framework & Change and Incident Management tools
Added advantage if Basic understanding & work experience on BMC products - BMC Remedy, BMC Discovery, BMC App Visibility Manager, BMC End User Experience Monitoring tool.
Work independently with minimal supervision, normally receiving minimal instruction on day-to-work activities
Would need to work in EMEA shift 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM and rotating on-call Support for Critical priority issues for both weekdays and weekends

Prior experience of working on SolarWinds NPM, SolarWinds DPA, Thousand eyes
Understanding of monitoring the Kubernetes 
Knowledge on Prometheus, Grafana
Understanding of Cloud Computing environments, AWS, Azure, etc.
