Location: Pune - India

BU/Product Description & Job Overview/Role of the candidate:
Excellent opportunity to work for the Business Finance (FP&A) Organization to support Business Leaders as Finance Business Partner to drive top-line growth and efficiencies on expense budgets 

Primary Responsibilities: 
Professionals in the Finance Analyst job family: 
  • Serves as the trusted financial advisor to the Geo Sales Finance business group
  • Support Headcount Tracking, Monthly Expense Attainments, and Monthly Headcount and Expense Forecasts
  • Provide support during annual planning cycle (Zero Based Budgeting) for topline and for BU Opex/Headcount in collaboration with Geo Sales leadership 
  • Support deep dive into Pipeline Analytics to track deals in Close, Commit, and Recon stages
  • Support sales analytics by Business partnering with Sales Operations 
  • Help with large transaction alignment with Sales Field and Best Practices Compiling and analyzing financial information and trends
  • Support with Top Line forecast and assist to assess change impact by bridging topline forecasts from v1-v2-v3-v4 etc.
  • Support Quarterly Reporting Preparation including reconciliation with CRM tool to understand differences in what was forecast vs what booked
  • Engage in Geo forecast calls and quarterly sales reviews, if required
  • Support Special Bid Requests and Purchase Order Approvals for the assigned Sales Geo
  • Help on Deviation Requests, required
  • Communication of results and recommendations to management and the business supporting complex data management, analysis, and interpretation
  • Helping business clients understand the financial impact of their business decisions with accompanying analytics
  • Supporting as subject matter expert for Geo Sales finance data and reporting for cross-functional business partners
  • Assists with ad-hoc analysis and data mining efforts, whenever required
  • Recommend and implement process improvements using technical solutions
  • Cross Train team members

Qualification:
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required (with MBA preferred) in Finance or Accounting concentration, with at least 3 years’ experience in a Business Finance (FP&A) related role 
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices-Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, Advanced Excel Modelling, Hands on experience on OneStream, and Good Power Point skills
  • Prior experience on Geo Sales Finance role preferred
  • Tableau and Micro-Strategy knowledge preferred
  • Experience on Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) preferred
  • Background in information technology and/or software is a plus
  • In depth understanding of core Finance business processes to ensure timely delivery of financial results as per the expected cadence
