Description and Requirements

This position will work very closely with:
BMC Professional Services & IS&T
BMC SaaS Activation Team
BMC SaaS Support Teams
BMC SaaS Infrastructure Teams

The candidate should be a Qualified (L3 Level) Remedy Developer/Administrator.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the development and administration of Remedy ITSM system used by SaaS teams for day-to-day operations
  • You will be responsible to Work on Request for Enhancements (RFEs), developing new and/or customizing ITSM applications. 
  • You will be responsible to Work on development tasks involved in building integrations with third party applications using RestAPI, Webservices, Plugins and other suitable integration methods
  • You will coordinate with Business Operations, IS&T and other stakeholders to gather requirement for writing enhancements for BMC Remedy ITSM, DWP, DWP-C & Smart IT.
  • Work in Agile way to develop and deliver in regular sprint cycles.
  • Contribute towards Automations helping bring operations efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting & Fixing all Issues identified as part of release & developments

Qualification\Skills:
  • Exposure to Installation procedures for different products like BMC Remedy ITSM, DWP, SmartIT, Smart Reporting, DWP Catalog is preferable.
  • Expertise in ARS Development/Administration using ARS objects - Forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalation, Active Link Guide, Filter Guides, Menus, Web Services, Applications etc.
  • Experience working on integrations between Remedy ITSM and external tools using different integration methods like web methods, RESTAPI, pentaho jobs etc. 
  • Very good troubleshooting skills within Remedy platform, DWP/SmartIT and Smart Reporting products.
  • Very Good Exposure of Remedy Integrations using latest version of Remedy APIs and ARS workflow (AR 9.x and above) ,e.g. Integration with SRM, Incident, Change, Work Order and CMDB Module.
  • Working Knowledge of SRM, ITSM, CMDB & Remedy Architecture. 
  • ITIL v3 certification is preferable.
  • Good exposure in working on Windows and Linux Operation System platforms.
  • Exposure of working with different database technologies like Microsoft SQL & Postgres.
  • Good documentation skills for writing design documents while working on development projects.
  • Exposure to ARS, ITSM and DWP upgrade procedures will be an added advantage.
  • BMC Remedy and DWP Certifications will be added advantage.
