The Staff Contracts Manager in North America acts as a single point of contact for the complete and timely review, negotiation, and approval of professional services contractual documents (Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work and Contract Change Orders) for North America from a Legal and BMC Best Practices business perspective. Additionally, the Staff Contracts Manager performs in the following roles:

  • Performs as level 1 support for the BMC professional services team regarding Legal and Revenue Recognition matters.

  • Champion the standard BMC professional services business and legal terms.

  • Facilitates contractual issues with BMC’s professional services Delivery organization and their customers to address ongoing engagement and customer contractual needs.

  • Assists in the development of professional services contractual templates.

  • Interacts in a cross-functional environment that requires significant contact with BMC’s professional services sales and delivery teams, Software Sales, Accounting, Customers, Legal, Revenue Recognition, Consulting Partners, and other operations groups.

  • Provide training and mentoring to BMC’s professional services managers, sales and technical personnel of BMC legal terms, corporate policies, and best practices.

  • Represents BMC’s professional services business in corporate initiatives and projects in coordination with various departments
