We are currently hiring for a Compensation Analyst for our Houston, Tx office!

As a Compensation Analyst at BMC, you will help create, maintain, and administer globally competitive and consistent compensation practices.  You will use your strong communication, analytical, and team skills to help ensure successful partnerships with the Total Rewards and HRBP teams.

What you get to do every day:
•Oversee job family administration to ensure global consistency and competitiveness.  Review new and existing job families using market data to ensure correct and consistent survey matches and leveling globally.  Participate in full-cycle market reviews including salary survey submission, to market pricing, to salary structure creation.  Make recommendations where necessary to improve competitiveness.
•Assist with compensation cycle administration, which may include bonus, merit, and promotion processing.  Create communication materials and reports for HR Business Partner (HRBP) team that are easy to use, useful, and ready to be shared with client groups.  Support the process lead in program set up within administration tool. 
•Monitor compensation trends within the industry to help the compensation team stay ahead of them.  Research compensation best practices and recommend program/process improvements.     
•Support the HRBP team by conducting analyses, creating models, dashboards, and other tools for them to easily use with their client groups.
•Monitor US and global compensation requirements to ensure BMC remains in compliance with applicable regulations.  These requirements include, but are not limited to fair pay regulations, minimum wage regulations, and FLSA adherence.  Work with internal team and external vendors to assess, set, and monitor workplace goals. 
•Other analyses, reporting, or presentations as needed by the business. 

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
•Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) study or certification a plus
•2+ years-experience in human resources or compensation, preferably in a multi-national company.
•Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs – particular focus on Excel analytical skills (including v-lookups, charts, and pivot tables) and PowerPoint story design.
•Previous experience administering market data and/or compensation management systems, preferably with PayScale MarketPay or Oracle Fusion
