Join us as a Sales Commissions Analyst!

As a Sales Commissions Analyst at BMC, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of BMC’s sales compensation systems and processes. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely calculation, reporting, and analysis of sales commissions and incentives. If you have a strong analytical mindset, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of sales operations and compensation structures, this is the role for you!

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 
  • Administer and maintain the sales commissions platform (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, or equivalent).
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, and HR to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations.
  • Translate compensation plans into system logic and workflows.
  • Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  • Generate and distribute commission statements and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve commission-related inquiries from sales representatives.
  • Support compensation plan modeling, testing, and deployment.
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

To ensure you’re set up for success, YOU will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field with 3+ years of experience in sales operations, commissions administration, or compensation analytics, preferably within a SaaS or complex enterprise software company.
  • You have hands-on experience with sales compensation tools (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, SAP Commissions, Forma. Ai).
  • You are proficient in Excel (advanced modeling), SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • You are familiar with leveraging AI & GenAI Technology for productivity and the sales operations & commissioning function.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit controls related to compensation is a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,025 - $103,375
