Description and Requirements

The Commissions Analyst will provide analysis of the commission plans and results, communication of commissions earned as well as ensure the timely and accurate payment of those commissions, for one or more business segments. 
The role requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; the ability to provide fact-based management information based on data and sound metrics, all in alignment with company policy. 
In this position you will work closely with multiple organizations including sales, sales operations and finance teams.
In the Administration group you will be responsible for Callidus administration to commission Payment
Manual Entries
Payment Processing and validation
New hire enablement in global field compensation systems
Commission high payout validation and reporting
Reoccurring and Adhoc reporting
Assistance in managing request for exceptions to compensation policy
Support Sales with the construction of the commission plan and interpretation of actual versus plan results
Prepare internal reporting to support monthly and quarterly close process
Consolidate and analyze financial information and trends from internal sources and communicate results and recommendations to GFC Management.
Assist with the development of processes/reports to enhance and standardize tracking of key business metrics, analysis and interpretations data.
Assist with the enhancement of policies, procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the Commissions function and the business.
Serve as the trusted commissions finance adviser to help the business clients understand the financial impact of their business decisions, providing value added alternatives with accompanying analytics.
Work independently and ability to take business decisions and execute upon it for the team within a short period of time, especially at quarter closes.

Working knowledge of Sales Commissions is preferred
Ability to provide accurate information and meet deadlines
Ability to provide information, analysis, and reporting based on data, sound metrics, and aligned with company policy
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and influence coworkers and peers.
Strong Excel and Power Point skills. Access skills a plus.
Ability to create presentations, process documentation training materials, policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
5 years' experience in Commissions, Finance and/or Operations preferred.
