Description and Requirements
BMC Software is looking for an Automation Developer in Tel Hai.
Responsibilities:
- Work on software projects of industry-leading cloud services.
- Implementation of specific components as required by the product and service roadmap.
- Work independently as part of a team with remote leadership.
- Learn independently new products and be able to work based on short communication to allow a short time to completion of projects.
- Take part and daily communicate with remote teams and product stakeholders based on company standards.
- Plan and execute to create automated product build/test systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience working for a software engineering company, or within the high tech industry in a Software RnD equivalent environment.
- Proven experience taking on work within a team (team of 3 or more).
- Be able to provide estimates on tasks for yourself as well as for others.
- CI/CD tool usage such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab plan creation of pipelines/uber pipelines systems.
- Jenkins job writing (sequential & parallel).
- Writing scripts of a quality automation system, leveraging best of breed tools such as Python, bash, perl.
- Ability to explain the process of quality-related phases within the release process of a product or a service.
Advantages:
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for services using Kafka, Elastic, Kubernetes, Redis, Cassandra, Victoria Metrics.
- Experience working on projects leveraging AWS managed services like EKS, EC2, S3, ELK, RDS, Aurora.
