BMC Software is looking for an Automation Developer in Tel Hai.

Come join a dynamic group in BMC developing a next-generation cloud-based solution for IT management experimenting with cutting-edge technologies and focusing on agile development and value to the customer.

Take part in advanced SaaS products and tools development within a cross regional team.

Responsibilities:

Work on software projects of industry-leading cloud services.
Implementation of specific components as required by the product and service roadmap.
Work independently as part of a team with remote leadership.
Learn independently new products and be able to work based on short communication to allow a short time to completion of projects.
Take part and daily communicate with remote teams and product stakeholders based on company standards.
Plan and execute to create automated product build/test systems.

Qualifications:

Experience working for a software engineering company, or within the high tech industry in a Software RnD equivalent environment.
Proven experience taking on work within a team (team of 3 or more).
Be able to provide estimates on tasks for yourself as well as for others.

Experience in any of the following:

CI/CD tool usage such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab plan creation of pipelines/uber pipelines systems.
Jenkins job writing (sequential & parallel).
Writing scripts of a quality automation system, leveraging best of breed tools such as Python, bash, perl.
Ability to explain the process of quality-related phases within the release process of a product or a service.

Advantages:

Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for services using Kafka, Elastic, Kubernetes, Redis, Cassandra, Victoria Metrics.
Experience working on projects leveraging AWS managed services like EKS, EC2, S3, ELK, RDS, Aurora.
