BU Description

This position is responsible for automation projects within BMC for an assigned business group. responsibilities include developing automation solutions, creating and managing technical documents, automation maintenance & support.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, test and deploy Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions.

·       Deploy RPA components including bots, robots, development tools.

·       Create process and end-user documentation.

·       Support deployment and troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and lead problem determination and solution.

·       Configure robotics processes and objects using core workflow principles tuned for efficiency and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

·                Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or information Technology/Computer Science or any other closely related field

·                3+years of experience in developing automation solutions using any RPA solutions. Exposure to Power automate is a must for (minimum 6months to a year).

·                Knowledge about the end-to-end RPA lifecycle and how to produce workflow automation.

·                Demonstrated experience in process assessment, process documentation and analysis.

·                Excellent programming skills in any programming language like python, PowerShell, C#, etc.

·                Good knowledge of SQL databases and GIT for version management

·                Experience developing and consuming APIs based on API documentation.

·                RPA Certifications advantageous

·                Good to have Power platform exposure such as PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Virtual Agent, AI Builder, GPT/LLM integrations.

·                Thought leadership and discipline to implement industry standard and auditable engineering practices.

·                Continuous improvement mindset with strong analysis and problem-solving skills

·                Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
