This exciting role is part of a very collaborative group, where people are willing to step out of their roles to help others. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will focus on income tax compliance, tax accounting, tax planning and research, as well as address any tax related issues with corporate accounting and other business groups within BMC.
What you get to do every day:
•Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision
•Assist with the preparation of the U.S. consolidated federal income tax return including international forms
•Prepare federal and state estimated income tax payments
•Prepare state apportionment
•Analyze the impact of tax reform on the tax provision and tax return
•Prepare monthly tax journal entries and account reconciliations
•Assist with other projects as necessary

Background requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
•2+ years of corporate federal and state income tax experience with either a Big 4 or national CPA firm.  Experience working for a large multinational company highly preferred
•Proficient with MS Office Excel and OneSource Income Tax; Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle, and OneStream a plus 
•Strong technical tax background including tax research and compliance knowledge
