About the role

Highly successful and geographically disperse Presales team, seek a Senior Solution Engineer to work closely with our sales team and enterprise customers to determine how we can best serve their unique needs through creating awareness of our solutions.  This is a highly visible role working with some of our most successful sales teams, supporting prestigious enterprise clients and new logo accounts. 

The BMC Helix platform offers a combination of Service Management & Operations Management into a single, automated platform built on modern technology leveraging micro-services, cognitive AI and ML, containers and cloud. Our goal is to help deliver services faster, accelerate time-to-market, and lower cost and risk across your customer's organizations.  Therefore we are relevant and why analysts keep putting BMC Helix solutions in the lead of their quadrants and competitive analysis.

Experience Needed and Experience Offered:
  • Provide technical assistance throughout a world-class sales cycle to drive opportunities.
  • Delivers and customizes technical presentations on BMC Helix Solutions. 
  • Explains the value to customers, with associated use cases, required capabilities, and differentiation.
  • Actively participates in sales calls to help manage technical requirements and simplify the needs and actions.
  • Identifies and develops innovative solutions to meet customer requirements. 
  • Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities with complex customer needs.
  • Writes Proof of Value success criteria for a clients solution validation. Stands up the appropriate environment (OnPrem or SaaS) and manages the process to ensure success, communicating progress both to the customer and to the sales account management team.
  • Provides demonstrations and presentations for BMC Helix Webinars and Tradeshows/Marketing Events.
  • Reviews RFP requirements from customers with sales and clients to establish the right solution and be consultative on whether to bid.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €71,100 - €118,500
