Department Description

We are the BMC Strategic Revenue Operations team, a highly functional, growing, business & outcome-focused agile team engaging with business groups and departments across BMC. We do this by aligning everything we do towards 4 key priorities: Accelerating Productivity, Driving Strategic Transformation, Increasing Customer Success & Delivering Operational Excellence.

About the Role

As an Analyst for Strategic GTM Operations, you will be working to support BMC’s Go-To-Market (GTM) Operational Leader and the Strategic Sales team.

We are looking for an individual that is passionate about customer service and someone that will play a full part in enhancing productivity and overall experience. Candidates should be highly dynamic, meticulous with a process driven approach and have exceptional communication skills to build strong partnership and support at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form a close working relationship with the Strategic GTM operational leader.
  • Identify opportunities and help standardize work and work deliverables, scale the standards and best practices across regions
  • Work with peers in Sales Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Finance to support and drive improvements
  • Data preparation, transformation, and analysis to support analytics and process execution
  • Provide end-to-end operations management and analytics for the GTM Sales team
  • Analyze key metrics in support of our go to market strategy like Pipeline Coverage and Forecast Accuracy
  • Drive and participate in new initiatives that positively impact the organization in a meaningful way
  • Continuously evaluate, seek feedback, and look for ways to improve the level of service and support to our stakeholders
  • Ability to align with the EMEA time zone.

Professional Experience

  • Ability to take ownership of end-to-end processes, timelines, and drive decisions
  • Possess the ability to both understand data and translate the “so-what” into digestible business language
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Statistics, or another quantitative or analytical field
  • Experience in Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, Sales Operations, or similar function leading multiple complex initiatives from conception to execution in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience working with sales and marketing automation software. (e.g. Salesforce.com)      
  • Strong data analytics and program management skills
  • Expert in sales processes and quota/territory management with a solid understanding of the Enterprise Software space
  • Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches juggling multiple competing deadlines. Can adapt quickly to changes and possesses a strong work ethic
  • Meticulous organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills to generate ideas to address challenges identified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to make compelling, data-driven, recommendations for change at all levels in the organization
