The IZOT product line includes BMC’s Intelligent Z Optimization & Transformation products, which help the world’s largest companies to monitor and manage their mainframe systems. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:  

• Perform automation development using Java/Python using selenium or Robot framework.

• Perform manual testing as and when required to understand core use-cases of product.

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

• Will be involved in problem solving, debugging the issues and automate the manual assignments using automation tools.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality testing

 To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 

5+ Years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance experience in software product development
4+ Years of hands-on test cases automation development experience in developing and implementing automated testing platforms using Selenium & Java/Python.
Proficiency developing UI and API test automation with Java/Python and Selenium.
Managing automation frameworks and run regression suites.
Hands on experience with tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Github, Operating systems etc.
Diverse experience in testing on different Operating systems flavors Windows/Unix.
Working closely with cross teams to ensure products achieve desired level of quality.
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help youdevelop in the following skills: 

· Have a good understanding in SaaS products and processes along with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Podman, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, Oracle cloud).

· CI/CD environment with popular DevOps tools.

· Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (Robot Framework, Python etc.) 

· Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load) frameworks, such as JMeter, etc.

· Agile methodology.

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
