This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment


BMC Senior Project Manager performs a lead role in managing the implementation of BMC enterprise software solutions and is responsible for orchestrating the successful delivery of Global Services engagements.  Sr. Project Managers are expected to drive projects to successful completion (on-time, on budget, with high Customer satisfaction) while maintaining billable efforts and protecting project profitability.

  • Manage to plan – within parameters of cost, scope, schedule and quality
  • Manage transition from Sales to Delivery Team:
    • Comprehensive review and clarification of SOW prior to deal closures
    • Review of BMC solutions roadmap for the Customer
  • Establish and execute project governance
  • Perform BMC PMO administration requirements, including:
    • Setup and maintenance of projects on PM tool
    • Accurate revenue forecasting, monthly revenue close
    • Management of Project costs and margin
    • Precise project communications (to PMO and other internal stakeholders)
  • Manage scope change - identify, negotiate and execute Contract Change Orders as required
  • Provides mentoring, leading peer group engagements and teams to share information, improve skills, and develop useful process, content and tools


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • PRINCE 2 Practitioner or other formal training in Project Management methodology (may be optional if PMP certified)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • 7(+) years of direct experience managing all phases of software Implementation project lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of leading large scale integrated software solutions addressing -people, process and technology change in complex Customer environments.
  • Managed 3(+) projects over 6 months in duration, $500K in services budget with multiple integrated solution sets
  • Managed 3(+) recovery projects (in flight projects in trouble - taking over from another project team) and turning them around to a successful conclusion.
  • International experience (required). – Working with customers in NA, Europe, APAC (Singapore, ANZ)

·         Knowledge of BMC solutions (or similar products) and the ability to articulate the benefits of BMC products & solutions (BMC product experience is desirable)
