- You will provide thought leadership and actionable guidance during the sales process to set up a successful customer conversion and value realization roadmap.
- You will share knowledge and experience with peers by contributing best practice templates and examples for the following delivery artefacts: Conversion Methodology Presentation / Conversion Agendas / Conversion Analysis templates / Architectures Design Documents / Test Plans Deployment Plan
- You will be responsible for leading and/or participating in small teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
- You will establish conditions of satisfaction and success factors with the Customer early in the sales cycle and ensure those are reviewed and maintained periodically through the sales lifecycle
- You will build the excellence playbook for DBA consultants to use with different competitive workload automation software and associated conversion tools • You will develop and maintain the relationships with conversion code programmers via weekly status calls.
- You will manage transition from Sales to Delivery Team
- You will provide comprehensive review and clarification of SOW prior to deal closures
- You will include plans for communication and collaboration among the Customer team, Account team, Pre-Sales, Services Sales, and the PMO
- You will establish and lead conversion scoping meetings including preparation of materials and working with the customer, sales team and other key stakeholders to review key conversion analysis information
- 10(+) years of progressive experience in designing and maintaining Workload Automation migration/conversion programs on the mainframe. (Control-M, CA7, CA-ESP, CA-Autosys, IBM, Tidal, Redwood)
- Programming/Scripting – JCL, JAVA and or JAVA Scripting, PL/I, REXX, Assembler
- Operating systems – Mainframe, Linux, Unix and Windows
- You will possess excellent customer-facing skills, enabling you to lead technical and project discussions with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and senior executives.
- Your capabilities will extend to strategic thinking about business, products, services, and technical intricacies, demonstrating your ability to address complex challenges effectively.
- With a demonstrated track record of successfully managing and delivering solutions and services, you'll bring valuable expertise to our team.
- Your strong verbal and written communication skills will facilitate seamless collaboration across our organization, ensuring effective information exchange.
- Additionally, your proficiency in both BMC and non-BMC products will be a valuable asset to our projects and initiatives.
