The Control-M product line is BMC’s orchestration and automation platform. It helps the world's largest companies to automate time-sensitive, business-critical workflows. BMC is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our global team of highly skilled software developers.

 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing features. This dynamic position involves equal involvement in frontend and backend development (50% each), ensuring our enterprise B2B SaaS product remains seamless and high performing.

 

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Design and develop new features, including 50% Backend development (primarily Java) and 50% Frontend development (Angular 10/ReactJS).
  • Maintain and enhance existing features, improving functionality, and fixing defects across complex areas of both frontend and backend.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production across the full stack.
  • Implement methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
  • Be a part of a global development team, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams globally, such as product management, UX/UI, and DevOps, to ensure seamless delivery of features.
  • Provide recommendations and implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system architecture and development processes, identifying areas for optimization and innovation.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Full Stack development, with strong proficiency in both backend (preferably Java/Python) and frontend (React, Angular, or similar)
  • Full cycle backend development experience, from initial design and requirements to coding, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Experience developing complex enterprise-level backend systems, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in Spring, Swagger, REST API, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools
  • Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design, performance optimization, and security
  • Self-learner who’s passionate about problem-solving and technology.
  • Team player with good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
 

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

  • Automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
  • Experience working in an enterprise company with global teams.
  • Experience in an Agile methodology.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 3,380,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
