The Senior Product Developer is a contributing member of the Development team responsible for designing, developing, and debugging of software products. The role requires a good knowledge of Assembler, DB2 and C, product domain, the SDLC, Agile and Devops methodology and the process involved in product development and maintenance. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 

Responsibilities:

·       Candidate should have a knowledgeable experience of z/OS Assembler, JCL, ISPF (having C and /Or Db2 knowledge will be additional advantage).

·       Should be able to analyze the Assembler (z/OS), DB2 and C programs independently.

·       Participates in DSUs and updates about the development, coding, and unit testing works.

·       To work on bugs identified by QA team for PTF building and major enhancements.

·       Strong Diagnostics, Debugging, and Troubleshooting skills to include diagnosing SVC dumps.

·       8+years’ Experience in designing and implementing mainframe applications in an IBM z/OS environment.

·       Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product documentation. 

·       Participates in customer interactions when required. & Support cross-functional teams in customer specific escalations.
