- Design and plan the migration path from other vendors competitive solutions to Control-M
- Get familiar with the competitive tools, their own way of getting the job done and come up with solutions that will allow achieving the same in Control-M
- Assist our field engineers and customers in their Control-M implementation journey
- Find creative ways for resolving the unique conversion challenges of our customers
- Participate in the conversion tools enhancement and maintenance efforts which involved coding in z/OS Assembler and Rexx on the MF and Python outside of it
- Work closely with the other Control-M development teams on suggested enhancements to the core product
- Familiarization with the z/OS environment
- Deep knowledge in jobs scheduling and workload automation challenges
- Familiarization with other vendors Schedulers (e.g., IBM-OPC, CA-7)
- Familiarization with JCLs and batch processing
- z/OS assembler coding experience
- Experience in Rexx scripts coding
- Self-learner, flexible and able to work in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Control-M knowledge on the MF or on other platforms – Advantage
- Familiarization with Python – Advantage
