Position: Community Product Manager
Location: Home office or Pune/Bangalore

BU/PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: 
As a Community Product Manager, you will lead the technical evolution of the BMC Community. You will ensure that Members have a successful journey in the Community, by collecting needs with the Community Engagement Management team and Community Members, and then work with technical teams to prioritize features in sprints.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • You will be interacting with other members of the core Community team to design improvements
  • You will be working with delivery teams to design and describe feature changes
  • You will be collaborating with the rest of the Community leadership team to improve existing programs, and best design new Programs

QUALIFICATION:
  • Graduation in Marketing or Computer Science
  • 6+ years of the overall experience, 3+ years in High Tech, 2+ in Product/Project Management

Soft skills:
  • Fluent in English, writing skills 
  • Great inter-personal skills / team-work / people person
  • Autonomous, organized
  • Agile methodologies
  • Empathetic, yet focusing on fixing real needs (not only the technical ask)
  • Believer in Digital Transformation, yet able to interact with people not yet at that level

Tech skills:
  • One or more Enterprise Social Networks (Jive/Aurea, Lithium/Khoros, Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud, Higher Logic, Vanilla Forums, Telligent/Zimbra, IBM Connections, InSided, etc.)
  • Office tools, including IM solutions (MS Teams, Slack)
  • Jira or Project Management tools
  • DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:
  • Other languages and cultures
  • Track-record of successes on Branded Communities (either B2B or B2C)
