This role is for IT Command Center -Operations which is responsible for monitoring all BMC IT Data Centers. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Day to day Operation of IT Command Center; event to incident lifecycle management in accordance with defined processes.
Sr. Network Ops Control Specialist responsibility is oriented towards proactively managing, maintaining efficient operating states of Infrastructure & insuring continuity of Services; and responding to critical incidents & problems that impact these.
The selected candidate must understand the overall relationship between infrastructure component to the Business & IT services.
Critical incident follow-up in accordance with defined Crisis management processes.
In case of Business Impact send notifications to IT users to know the current progress on outage.
Drive a crisis call and value to drive quick service restoration.
Excellent presentation skills to showcase IT operations to internal as well as external customers
Working hours: General Shift or EMEA Shift (12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST).
Perform L1 troubleshooting of Network related issues.
Coordinate with Vendor and get the network issue fixed.
REQUIRED SKILLS: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for interaction with a global team and Customers.
6-8 Years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and Monitoring
Exposure to ITIL Framework & Change and Incident Management tools (preference will be given to someone with ITIL Foundation or Expert certification)
Work independently with minimal supervision, normally receiving minimal instruction on day-to-work activities
Strong analytical, multi-tasking & problem-solving skills
Customer oriented attitude
Any IT operations experience will be added advantage. 

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:
BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM) or any monitoring tool. 
BMC Helix Service Management (BMC ITSM)

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is INR 1,380,375 - INR 2,300,625.
