BMC Software is a KKR & Company-backed Enterprise software company looking for a high caliber leader to join our Go-to-Market Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with team members and Marketing leadership to co-develop, plan, and execute BMC’s most critical marketing initiatives. This role offers exposure across the breadth of marketing functions and visibility with senior executives. 

As the Senior Manager, you will provide Operations support to the Chief Marketing Officer and the marketing leadership team. 

Core mandates include:  
•Operations and process efficiency: Set the business standard for core business processes and systems; establish, reinforce, and refine management cadence for senior executive and direct leadership team   
•Execution of marketing strategic initiatives: Partner with BMC Marketing leadership and provide structure, planning, and coordination to drive the execution of Marketing's highest priority strategic initiatives  

About the role: 
•Reports directly into Go-to-Market Operations organization, aligned to the Chief Marketing Officer, providing operational support to the entire Marketing leadership team
•Strategic advisor to Chief Marketing Officer and leadership team, representing Go-to-Market Operations in daily and recurring business reviews
•Represents and leads Marketing leadership through annual fiscal year planning cycles and  recurring enterprise-wide operational reviews
•Serve as liaison between Operations’ Analytics & Data Science team and Marketing, monitoring and reporting Vision, Strategy, Execution, and Metrics performance and other key marketing analytics activities
•Oversee daily operations through collaboration with Chief Marketing Officer and leadership team; design and execute strategic interlocks
•Partner and liaise with other key business partners
•Oversee BMC Corporate Launch Process including coordination across Corporate Marketing and Solution Marketing leaders to ensure delivery, reporting and monitoring of applicable launch activities and deliverables (e.g., messaging source document, business case, release collateral, etc.)  
•Lead ad hoc Marketing and Solution Marketing interlocks
•Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of Chief Marketing Officer and Go-to-Market Operations
•Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in the marketing and operations space and apply them to strategies/tactics
•Build and develop relationships with Marketing, Solutions Marketing, and Product Line Operations teams for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness within existing system activities

•BA/BS degree in business, science, engineering or similar discipline preferred; MBA, MA, or other graduate degree a plus 
•5 - 8 years' experience in corporate strategy, consulting, operations; experience in tech / software a plus  
•Track record of structuring and leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
