Senior Manager, IT Front Office Application Management

An IT Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the IT Front Office Application supporting teams, ensuring that processes are followed effectively, and that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Act as a bridge between senior leadership, Business System Analysts, Developers, Support team, and Customer Success and R&D stakeholders, aligning projects with strategic goals and providing guidance and support.

  • Serve as strategic IT partner to Customer Success, R&D, and other business units
  • Define and execute tech roadmap aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee front-office application portfolio and prioritize initiatives
  • Advocate for AI-driven solutions and continuous improvement
  • Lead global teams across business systems analysis, administration, and development
  • Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture
  • Align IT execution with financial goals and revenue targets
  • Manage resource allocation, team development, and mentorship
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive operational excellence and professional growth through goal-setting and coaching
  • Deliver projects including platform migrations, integrations, and automation
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Lead demand planning and pipeline coordination with Customer Success and R&D
  • Host regular engagement forums to manage support issues and enhancements
  • Implement standardized methodologies and management processes
  • Optimize tool usage, including BMC and AI applications
  • Identify opportunities for process and performance improvement
  • Maintain high availability and performance of key platforms
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigations
  • Manage vendor relationships and external support coordination
  • Monitor budgets and provide transparent KPIs through reporting
  • Track progress, address issues proactively, and implement corrective measures
  • Participate in strategic forums and Steerco meetings
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports


To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.  MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior manager role.
  • Proven success managing enterprise front office platforms such as Salesforce, CPQ, Atlassian, ServiceNow, or Adobe/Marketo.
  • Experience leading large-scale cross-functional projects, cloud migrations, and global application support.
  • Strong understanding of front office business processes: R&D and Customer Success.
  • Ability to lead and influence across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in AI, Agile/Scrum and ITIL practices.
  • Vendor management experience
  • Financial Management Experience

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,075 - $225,125
