- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Federal cloud security programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Program Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Federal cloud security program, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with Federal security standards. Oversee a cross-functional working team across Risk & Compliance, SaaS Security, R&D and SaaS Operations teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with federal agencies and third-party assessment organizations (3PAOs) and other external parties to facilitate assessments, reviews, and authorizations.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FedRAMP and GovCloud IL4/IL5 requirements, guidelines, and changes to ensure compliance efforts align with current standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Provide regular updates to an executive steering committee.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of teams that support the Federal business.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management for IT and SaaS organizations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing FedRAMP or similar US Federal cloud security programs.
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP requirements, AWS GovCloud, DISA Impact Level 4, 5 and 6 requirements, CMMC requirements, NIST standards, and federal cybersecurity policies.
- Project Management Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP and security clearance preferred

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $189,375 - $315,625
