We’re looking for an accomplished and strategic Senior Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of BMC’s Control-M SaaS platform. Control-M is a mission-critical orchestration solution trusted by the world’s largest enterprises. In this role, you’ll define the roadmap and business direction for the cloud-native evolution of Control-M, ensuring it continues to deliver unmatched reliability, scalability, and value for complex enterprise environments.

You’ll partner closely with engineering and executive leadership to shape product architecture, make key trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams in delivering a modern, customer-centric SaaS experience. This includes leading our UI transformation, integrating cutting-edge capabilities (including AI-powered features), and driving sustained growth across enterprise accounts.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Control-M SaaS.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership on architecture, scalability, and performance trade-offs.
  • Lead customer engagement and design collaboration, ensuring the product evolution reflects real-world enterprise needs.
  • Oversee UI modernization efforts, partnering with UX teams and customers to deliver intuitive, next-gen experiences.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and commercial model evolution, working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to expand adoption and retention.
  • Develop clear business cases, pricing, and competitive positioning for new SaaS features and offerings.
  • Partner with ecosystem and partner program leaders to extend Control-M’s capabilities and integrations.
  • Represent the product externally and internally as a strategic thought leader.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 
  • 12+ years of progressive product management leadership in enterprise SaaS, including experience scaling large, mission-critical platforms.
  • Proven success managing complex customer bases with stringent availability, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Strong technical acumen, you should have an ability to engage deeply with engineering on system design and architectural trade-offs.
  • Experience driving UI or UX transformations, including customer co-design or partner collaboration.
  • Understanding of SaaS commercial models, lifecycle metrics, and monetization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:  
  • Experience delivering or integrating AI-driven features or workflows.
  • Familiarity with or passion for the agentic AI ecosystem and its enterprise applications.
  • Background in the workload automation, orchestration, or scheduling domain.
  • MBA or formal leadership/business training.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $197,250 - $328,750
