Join us as a Senior Director of Analyst Relations!

As the Senior Director of Analyst Relations at BMC, you will lead and evolve BMC’s global AR strategy. In this highly visible, executive-level role, you will shape how BMC is perceived by the analyst community, influence market narratives, and drive alignment across product, marketing, and executive leadership. You will lead a high-performing team, foster strategic analyst relationships, and ensure BMC is positioned as a market leader across key research landscapes. This is a pivotal opportunity for a visionary AR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about shaping industry perception and driving business impact. 

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 
  • Define and lead the global Analyst Relations strategy to elevate BMC’s market position, support strategic business objectives, and influence industry narratives. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights and counsel on analyst perceptions, competitive positioning, and market trends. 
  • Drive executive-level engagement with top-tier analysts, ensuring alignment with BMC’s vision, innovation roadmap, and go-to-market priorities. 
  • Lead a global AR function and virtual team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. 
  • Establish and oversee a comprehensive AR engagement model, including briefings, inquiries, advisory sessions, analyst summits, and strategic sponsorships. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, communications, and sales leadership to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that resonate with analysts and customers alike. 
  • Measure and communicate AR impact through robust reporting, executive dashboards, and strategic business reviews. 
  • Continuously evolve AR best practices, tools, and processes to scale the program and maximize influence in a dynamic market landscape. 

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred and 15+ years of experience in Analyst Relations or related strategic communications roles within the technology sector, ideally with SaaS and enterprise software expertise. 
  • You have proven success in leading global AR programs that drive measurable business impact and elevate brand perception. 
  • You have a deep understanding of enterprise technology trends, competitive landscapes, and analyst research methodologies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior analysts and internal stakeholders, including C-level executives. 
  • Exceptional executive presence, strategic thinking, and communication skills—both written and verbal. 
  • You possess strong leadership and team development capabilities, with a track record of building high-performing, collaborative teams. 
  • You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into compelling business value narratives.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $192,750 - $321,250
